Why did you pick out my post to respond to rather then the original post? Especially since you don't to live in a Hen house? Now add sex, which is also part of the problem, since you didn't say having "Good Sex" so I believe that you need a new Rooster, to make you cluck instead of Quacking like a Duck!

No need to get your feathers all ruffled and please don't run around like a capon with his head cut off....

Give it exactly three months. Then I'll be 26 and can officially join the 'old' crowd, right?

I would say get your fouls straight, before you try and make us howl... at your sense of humor! Quack, Quack! Cock-A Doddle Do! Cluck-were does a capon fit in?
I would say that you need a new Cock in the Hen House!

Don't be afraid to stand strong when you're right, or admit it when you're wrong. And on those occasions when you just have to agree to disagree...avoid those, since they can never be solved.

My Auntie Mary in England had chickens. They taught me how to prepare one for dinner. It was yummy.
All this talk of chickens reminds me of Foghorn and Henery the baby Chicken Hawk! Rootin', tootin', pop-gun shootin' chickenhawk!

i hate to disagree with the troika of LBMM, BEA and WW- especially the first two...

BUT... if i were with a lady and was always wrong, i would not be with her very long.

compromise is essential when dealing with the feelings, longings and beliefs of two people in a relationship. i get the feeling from the OP that all of the compromise is going one way.

i would not tolerate that.
I can understand what you're saying here, notyet, and theoretically, I agree with you. I guess the reason why I was agreeing with LBMM is because I'm well aware of the fact that I am not always right, and when I'm wrong I can admit it. I also agree with picking your battles. If a couple argues over every little tiny thing, they're never going to be happy together.

In my mind, a relationship is about being partners. It's not always about being right and wrong; it's more about working together and supporting one another. Of course, if a precedent is set that one person is always right and the other person always compromises, it ends up causing a lot of frustration--that's never a good thing.

To be honest, I could only see who is 'right' being an issue in a relationship unless the other person was a completely unrealistic person. What I'd see are a more likely problem is an imbalance in compromise, with one person expecting to have their own way an inordinate amount of the time. But this isn't really a matter of one person having to be 'right'.

Some Islamic wisdom coming your way on this subject....speak on topics that you have knowledge of otherwise remain silent. I try to do this so that would make me right most of the time but not always hahaha...we can't always cover all the bases so I think it's always wise to keep an open mind and heart to what the other person is saying. There may not be an immediate resolution or complete understanding but I think if the person knows your heart is in the right place and you are making a sincere effort to acknowledge their thoughts/feelings on a subject that says more than just yessing someone to death.

Unless your JayJay...I think he likes when I put him in the doghouse but just for fun...he's too enlightened to get put in there for real
