I thought that it might be good to mention that although the advice here is very good and full of wisdom, it is not infallible.

In my current relationship I have broken a few of these "rules" and couldn't be happier

just sayin...

To every rule there is an exception. The point is that it is indeed an exception and sometimes a rare one.

Yeah....with people nothing is ever entirely consistent or predictable.

Whatever....I doubt anyone would expect their words to be taken as gospel. It is good that you are going to have different perspectives on the subject as when we are experiencing things we tend to have tunnel vision. Some posts are just totally out there to make you laugh and some threads/posts are pure fluff to me I hope you take it for what it is...as in any good story/joke you may find some pearls of wisdom. Sometimes our innermost hurts are best delivered and dealt with a good sense of humor and salt
