I've been dating someone for about four months and I've noticed, what I consider, an odd behavior. When he and I are being intimate he does not have a problem kissing me, i.e. French kissing. However, any other time he will only give me a quick "pop kiss" and almost seems overwhelmed if I want a "real kiss."

I know it has nothing to do with my oral hygiene because I do take care of myself. My question then: Is this normal behavior, and I simply have not run into it before?

I would sincerely appreciate serious answers or insight.

Ask him straight up why? Then tell him to give you a real kiss

He either doesn't want public affection, or more likely, does not want to start what can't be finished. It may arouse him and then go nowhere.... and that may be uncomfortable...

All great advice and you do need to start by asking him why. I can tell you from experience, if kissing is very important to you, it will be hard going through life with someone who doesn't enjoy it or do it.

I agree; He's probably just getting too hot under the collar. Just tell him you wanna make out for a few minutes and you'll see. Ask him about it maybe; he'll probably tell you.

I think he should try kissing a Frog.
Then, if he is smart enough, he may realize what he's been missing!

Maybe he has gum disease or worse growing in his mouth?

Knowing what the OP is saying, I would agree that most men are put in an embarrassing position with this kissing, business, which us women fail to understand. My previous love had to spell it out plain to me. I felt bad but was supremely happy with my result, although we had to cool down until were alone. I'm still a virgin so don't go there.

I'm reminded of the movie "Pretty Woman" and no kissing on the lips....

Yes, I know that movie well. That is so not what I was talking about, but then maybe you weren't either. Julia Robert's character did not kiss on the lips because it would have caused her to be emotionally involved with the man she was currently giving pleasure to. Her character was a hooker, you do remember?
