i was thinking back to how falling in love was for a women when you were younger. (for a women i say,,,, becuase i think women have different kinds of things that make feel special with a man)

you felt like the guy was so crazy about you, and so drawn to you, and so attractted to you. it made you feel flirty and fun with him.

i know there are some beautiful women out there in their 50,s and 60,s , but there are also alot that just age the way we age and we end up looking like a lady in 50,s or 60,s. i think im one of them. i was always considered a pretty girl, and i dont look bad now, but im just a women in her 50,s.

so i cant imagine a man looking over at me with those adoring eyes and thinking how pretty i look to him (like when i was younger) and me in return feeling that good feeling of feeling playful and fun with him and so good that he is feeling that way about me.

that song from the old movie, the sound of music where the girl is dancing around in front of the boy singing, "i feel pretty, oh so pretty".........
how does a women get that feeling when she meets a man in her 50,s and 60,s? to think i would never feel that feeling with a man again seems sad.

if your the plain normal getting older women, or known anyone like that in the dating world, has a man ever made you feel like that at this age?

I'm in my 40's (not 50/60's yet), but i have say i do know the feeling of which you speak. And how i hate to say this, but here goes - younger guys make me feel that. Younger men (whom i'm not particularly interested in) actually treat me with adoration and say all the really sweet and flattering things we like to hear that make us feel special and tingly. Men my age and older seem to feel like basically once they've told you you're beautiful or they find you attractive, that's it - it's been said - over/out/done. Maybe some of you guys will tell me i'm wrong, but my experience is that the older guys have little interest in wooing a woman. Am i dating myself? Anyhow, the guys in their 20s and early 30s are pretty persitant with the attention and flattery.......

I'm 56 and have had a relationship with a man of 51 for 2 years now. I can assure you that I feel like I'm 16 again when he looks at me and tells me I'm beautiful. I have the exact same butterflies in my stomach, I fell like dancing and can't stop smiling, laughing and do silly things when I'm with him. Rest assured, nothing has changed. When you meet the right one you'll act and feel just as silly as you were when you were in love as a teenager.

I am in my early 60's. I know I have seen women in their 50-60's who captured my eye. These women tend to dress smartly, not necessarily for the nines but just neat and coordinated rather than the thrown together look. On occasion I have seen some women in this age group that look closer to 80-90 owing to the fact of leading hard lives, ie partying too hard for too long or were beach bunnies that old man Sun got them later in life.

Are you kidding me???!!!

Given a choice, would you choose to be any younger than you are? NOT!

And why not? Because of the experience you've gained...

Concentrate on what you have going for you. I'm sure there's plenty! If you present yourself with confidence & assurance (and why shouldn't such a marvelous unique person such as yourself do that?) you will be amazed at the results.

Other people come & go throughout one's life. The only one you'll always have is yourself. So woo yourself first. The rest will follow.

That guy is out there for you. I have seen little old couples just staring at each other and then the guy ,must have been 90, says (about his wife, must have been 85) "isn't she the cutest thing you've ever seen?"

I'd love to feel that spark again with someone :-) But before that became possible I needed to learn to love myself. Just haven't found the right guy yet ;-)

So true. I've gone on a few dates with a guy who couldn't get over me the first time we met and kept saying he felt like he was a teenager again because of how I made him feel...and no...I'm not fifty yet but getting pretty close to it. In a family of five siblings, I'm the middle one but look like I'm the oldest. It hasn't made a difference for someone who is attracted to me though and I love how it makes me feel.
