He had a preoccupation with discussing in detail the behavior traits of the ideal passive, submissive woman.

It took me a minute, but I got my runners on and made like Carl Lewis.

The first guy I dated, was a bit...feminine, sort of. That bothered me, but for some reason it didn't send me running for the hills. Then, one day, we were talking about sexual fantasies and he admitted that he had always had a fantasy of giving oral sex to another man. And that was when I finally came to my senses

When my ex found out about the surprise 30th birthday party I was throwing for him as his co-worker accidently let the cat out of the bag and my ex sent an email to everyone that was on the evite invitation behind my back saying that he was canceling the party. Then proceeded to bitch me out asking why I was throwing him a party as he doesn't like surprises (ummm that was news to me after dating him over a year and never complained about the other surprised I gave him) and also chewed me out asking why so and so was on the evite invitation list as they are just work friends and not someone who they would hang out with outside of a work setting. How was I supposed to know that as he emailed three of these guy all the time?

Seriously it was just a party and shouldn't the most important thing be that someone loved you enough to do something nice to celebrate your birthday with your friend and family. Hard hard would it have been to suck it up for a few hours and be cordial to someone even though you can't stand them for a few minutes and spend the rest of the time at your party having a blast and telling everyone what an awesome girlfriend you have that did something nice for you?

Should have listened to everyone around me that this guy was an ass as only a selfish jerk who would do something like that and the huge red flag this was. Took me a year and a half later to realize this before I wised up and dumped him after he pulled another stunt and I said good riddence.

Guy #1 was a musician and smoked... two deal breakers for me, yet I fell for him anyway and he drove me nuts (and NOT in a good way) for months.
Wow, that's surprising. Most women seem to LOVE musicians. That and photographers. I've been thinking about doing an experiment one night where I go out and tell all of the women I meet that I'm an out of work photographer rather than what I actually do (engineer) to see if that improves my chances.
