I am a big, tall guy. I have a huge problem intimidating people, even when I try to be as nice and inviting as I can be.


On top of all this, I have a feisty personality. So I have struggled all my life not to scarewomen away.

I don't think I'm intimidating at all, but I've been told by guy friends that I am. When I asked for clarification they could only tell me that it's almost like I'm too approachable. I have a strong personality but can get along with anyone and ... somehow that makes me intimidating? I'm not sure I get it but I do tend to like men that are more outgoing.

I have wondered if I was intimidating before because I am a successful woman and sure of myself in a job setting, but I'm shy in a social setting and probably don't make eye contact like I should so I've got myself a double-wammy.

I am confident and others react to it. some people have told me I am intimidating - Oh well. *shrugs* Then again - I know myself and trust my self. So if others state it, are they really speaking about you or is it about THEM. [img]library/editor/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-innocent.gif[/img]

I've been told by a very good guy friend that I can appear intimidating to some men... Not because of my personality, but because of my interest and relative success in a number of areas.


But he also commented that any men who feels intimidated by such is not worth my time. So there. [img]library/editor/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-cool.gif[/img]

Maybe they figure the competition is too intense. Take it as a compliment that they think you can have any guy you want.
