o my, who WRITES this stuff ?

So many things NOT mentioned, like THE LAKE, the ISLANDS, the BLUFFS, and don't waste your time with anything north of St.Clair Avenue, or east of the DVP (ok, Danforth/Bloor is good for the Greek Festival), or west of Hyde Park. Most everything goes on south of BLOOR and people are very into entertaining at home ...

Overall it is a very friendly city with LOTS of diversity.

New hot spot is Bloor West near Lansdowne for Ethiopia food ... and College Street is good around the univ.

There's always Yorkville if you want to 'star watch' ... Note: PARKING is a NIGHTMARE. Little gnomes ticket after midnight, $30 CDN for parking without a permit on a residential street ...

They didn't mention the airport hotel that I got stuck at last week when my flight back to Boston was canceled

They had great Canadian beer.

You're a Brit right? What's the best 'English' beer? Nothing comes to mind. I know those islanders like their G&T's, and sherry at noon ... Guiness is Irish, right?
