I'm wanting to join a nice dating sight but I;m very afraid of who I might meet. I really would like to find a nice guy in his 50's  that willing to take things slow. and blossom into something beautiful. something everlasting.

For end of summer additional dating ideas in the Chicago Metropolitan area try the following:
1. Go to Ravinia Festival in Highland Park (Home of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra during the summer months) for concerts. Also you and your date can dine there or if you prefer bring your own picnic w/ blanket or rent chairs and a small table to enjoy your cuisine "on the lawn." The train stops at the Festival entrance and is accessible from downtown Chicago or from the north.

2. Attend Neighborhood Festivals and/or browse Area Art Festivals/Fairs. These activities may give you an opportunity to better understand your date's like and dislikes regarding tastes in food , music and art.

One or both of these choices could be very entertaining at best and certainly will not be boring at worst! Enjoy! Enjoy!

I like the idea of locating someone to date in Chicago and/or New York, I live in Texas.  If there is a member of e-harmony who resides in these states, I would enjoy getting to know them.  I am new to dating and am leary of finding someone who is too close for comfort. I need the distance at first for a relationship, don't know why, but do?

I live in KY - and I am not having alot of luck on Eharmony as much as i was lead to believe i would... mainly because it is such a slow process... im 33, swf, independent, have one child and just looking for someone to get to know that is well rounded, openminded and funny
