BTW, it's interesting to compare this thread to the one re: "top 5 female turnoffs". Notice that this one started in July of '08 and is now up to over 400 posts. But the version with "female turnoffs", which started only 6 months prior, currently has well over 900 posts (and counting)!

(LOL!) Gee, what a surprise....?!

Men won't give these personalities a second thought.
You are spot on, especially with respect to PartyGirl and ClingOn types. At my stage, partying is not on the agenda; and while I like a woman who is alittle clingy, the way you define the ClingOn would be terrible in the short and long term.

Of course this can be true but i'm sure it is not correct for everyone. What a generalisation.

Besides, I know many guys that like party girls. Honestly, i have to say that these threads are mostly narrow minded /one sided, dictating type views that I can't help but be annoyed by.

Actually, I think we've already mentioned the type that thinks "it's always all about her", but thanks for the good example anyway....

The men I know like party girls on a short-term basis, but not for a LTR. This doesn't mean women who like to go out and have a drink....but the really wild women.

Women who play dating games like too-hard-to-get, hot-and-cold, not calling for 8 days, making the guy do all the chasing, disppearing for weeks at a time and then resurfacing with a cheap excuse, etc. should be avoided. If you have to jump through a million hoops for the "privilege" of dating her, believe me, you don't want to date her, and it really isn't a privilege!

This is hilarious. And so true.  But they could add one more: The Jokster.  A sense of humor is important but a woman who constantly tries to be a stand up comedian gets old very fast and is just not sexy.  Ladies take note.
