When it comes to dates I will always give second chances......first time is a blip...more than once is a pattern.

I also understand last minute cancelations of they are a single parent.



What reasons did he give for potponing your dates? What excuse did he give for Saturday?

This is why:

1. never friend someone you havent met as a potential date.

2. Always try to meet face to face within 2 weeks at the most from the time of your open communication...even if its an hr lunch or coffee meeting.

This happened to me with a man that was "interested" in me. We had already met and got the first coffee date over with and we had stayed in contact over the phone every night for the next few days. He stood me up for a dinner date on a Saturday night, then felt horrible and called me the next morning explaining he was scared and he was up all night feeling bad for doing it to me. He pleaded for me to meet up for coffee after church. What did the jerk do?? Stood me up again. I finally told him goodbye which he suddenly couldn't handle that and continued to contact me over the next few days. I just told him that I know I deserve to feel I matter to someone and I could never treat my friends the way he treated me especially not one I was interested in romantically. Even after I stopped replying to his messages he continued a week later to contact me. His lost! I hope he learned a valuable lesson that you have to treat women and people in general, with respect. Him not calling me to cancel was showing didn't have an ounce of respect for anyone.
