If your match (you did not see her in real life yet) would send you a picture in dress like this? or is in this particular dress... (this is a link on VS website) in some adequate environment -theater or performing arts center, would it be a problem for you?
I can not understand outcomes- few really nice guys just disappeared. It seems I am doing much better without pictures (sad smile)

Sad to say it, but I do have bad experience with women using excessive revealing clothing in dating site profiles. (Gold digging, dysfunctional lives, or, usually, both, was the outcome.)

I recommend only one area of skin for (most) photos and the first meeting: So, I would show the arms, the legs, or the cleavage, but not all at once.

(And as I said, I'm sad to have to say it.)

You really don't understand women's fashion...LOL....You expect a woman in a regular spring/summer dress to be long sleeves and to the ankle if there happens to be a v or scoop neck? That is ridiculous...

All spring/summer/early fall I wear skirts(only a few full length) or dresses, short sleeves or sleeveless with the perfect amount of cleavage. This is all appropriate for work and/or going out on a date.

The only downside to this one particular dress the OP is showing is the "lace" is what makes it more sexy and not a work/first date dress...but for one of her many photographs....almost every man will enjoy the heck out of it!...

But hey....we know you wear those black socks so I shouldn't give you too hard of a time as I'm thinking fashion is not your cup of tea....Just don't ever post any shots with sandals and those socks!..

I'm not posting from a point of personal taste, but from my experience.

As a male using online dating, the profiles with revealing clothing turned out to be gold-diggers at best, and occasionally sex workers or frauds (and that is on the good sites.)

I wish dating sites were only populated by honest people, and actual fit people could advertise that without risk of being lost in frauds or besieged by spammers. But that is not the case.

The OP wants to know why, and I am the first to tell her.

You are probably just intimidating them...use the dress as a nice little surprise after you've met a geek and been on a few dates- I'm sure they would love it

And thanks a lot- I'm about to order a bunch of stuff off VS now...

Honestly, I don't think it's the dress. You said that you are in communication with these guys, and they just don't care it through to a date, right? I've noticed that your writing style is kind of...rushed. It comes off as broken English sometimes, and a bit hard to understand. If you are responding to guys in the same manner, particularly to well educated man, it could be a big turn off. I could be off on this, but I have been in communication with women who were attractive, but didn't know how to communicate well. It just does't work for me.
