A surprising number of people choose a school that is close to home. Parents should probably consider that.

I could easily see someone being in what would be considered an "elite" school for their chosen major that isn't in the list.

This idea of using the top 50 schools is a tad arbitrary.

It is an interesting concept.

I think these top liberal arts and academies.
rankings are skewed because they penalize state schools.

A better measure of schools to draw from would be AAU certified colleges and the
