Hi. I haven't tried e-harmony as a dating site yet. I'd like to get some of your thoughts and opinions on how good the site is. Has anyone out there had luck finding compatible dates? Also has anyone found long-term relationships using e-harmony? Thanks in advance for your help with this.

Depends on your patience and what you are looking for.. EH people (generally) far more relationship orientated.. free sites far more "hook up" / pen pal orientated. I have done both, great relationship (that did not work) from EH, am in incredible relationship (with "MENSAgirl", who is actually in MENSA so not all are idiots) from OKCupid.

It is my opinion that YOU control (or can allow it to control you) how the site works for you.

The only place I have had any luck at getting dates is on eHarmony.

I personally know of two people that have met their spouses on eHarmony. I don't know very many people so when I know two people that had success on eHarmony it must be rather common.

Why have you not set up good profiles and pics on several dating sites, including eharmony?

I met my BF of a year (so far!) on EH. It worked for me. AND him! My co-worker met her bf of two years on EH. I know others also.

Probably best for divorced professionals in major metro areas, I suspect.
