In this personal story, relationship coach Rori Raye reveals the unlikely way she managed to quickly turn her marriage around...and create more connection and romance with her husband than ever before.
When I was single, I spent years attracting the wrong kind of guy or getting so close to a commitment...
I was just on Google and I can't find one single thing that talks about the professional backgrounds of these people...Nada.....
Oh I'm sure that there are people who buy this stuff....
I keep asking them to use some EHA members at times to write articles....then we would at least get some real, in the trenches, views about dating..
Oh well...I just thought it was funny as they all have similar names...RR, DD, CC....lol
I was able to find a little bit about her on her own site http://www.relationship-advice-for-women.net/:
"Rori Raye is a trained coach from Coaches Training Institute, Rori Raye was a crisis counselor for survivors of violent crime (so nothing you could tell her about your life would shock or surprise her), Rori Raye has a radio show, she speaks at large, national seminars, she has classes and workshops, and she’s written several books ..."
But like you, Ingy, I couldn't find much on her, and as far as I can tell, there is not a governing body over relationship coaches as there is in the medical and psychology/psychiatric fields, so it's difficult to determine whether or not one's credentials and the services they provide are genuine or not. As always, the buyer must beware.
What also worries me about her and Christian Carter is that they have been flagged as disingenuous (the other word will bounce in the mod word list - rhymes with hammer) on consumer watch sites because if you order their books from their sites, you are signed up for their recurring subscriptions which bill automatically to your debit/credit card, and people have had difficulty getting out of the arrangement and/or obtaining refunds.
Rori's book is $14.47 but the monthly charges are $19.97 ($239.64 per year). If you purchase the book from amazon, the book is currently $22.97 without the risk of the recurring monthly charges.

Wow...that's some interesting information...especially about the monthly things...I saw a lot of those complaints but didn't click further to see...As well as CC and DD...the only information to be found is only on their websites which I refuse to even click on to get their cookies attached....

My inner child says I am. Anastasia is intriguing. (Her name too). I like the dress she's wearing in the ad. I wonder how eHarmony picks the couples for their print and TV ads. –
