...from here! My date tonight knew me from eHa. He's never posted but he's read the forums...and because I was using the same avatar pic as one of my eH pics...he recognized me. Awkward lol.

It's funny that there are a lot of things people will say on here that they wouldn't say on a date. Thing is that even knowing all that stuff, people are still interested. Might be better off knowing about you through the forums.

I'm surprised more people don't meet on the forums since we're all a bunch of know-it-alls anyway lol.

He said that I didn't say anything bad on here but that he almost cancelled when he read the "expenses" thread and found out how "high maintenance" I am (I think it's the cost of business and dressing for what you want so I'm okay with it) and when he read in a thread how I had 8 dates this weekend, because he didn't want to be just a number. Which is fair. I would think some pretty horrible things about me if I read that about someone and didn't know about them too .

I guess if someone read my posts and knew the less pc thoughts that I share on here, and he still was interested...that would be rather big...it takes quite a while for the truth to come out in a relationship and dating someone that knew those thoughts before hand would be a bonus.

You would be surprised at the number of behind-the-EHA door romances that have occurred/are still ongoing from the boards.....or maybe you wouldn't.

Yeah, I think I would have came up with the flu and canceled if I read my date for the weekend had 7 other dates in the same weekend. Not knowing you personally, that just screams of "I like to be entertained on someone else's dime, but I'm not looking for anything serious."
