He's right, though. As females you all don't get to see other females' profiles. They almost always mention "head games", "play games", "drama", or something similar. Almost always.

Szgorzelski,

What's interesting about this phenomena is I have never mentioned head games, drama, or anything similar in my profile (on another site, not here) until I kept seeing them mentioned in so many MEN'S profiles.

I got so tired of seeing men stating they don't like drama and don't want head games, I finally stated in my profile that I hate drama and prefer to talk things out calmly and reasonably. I assumed (maybe wrongly) that what I DID have in my profile already made that clear, but decided to state it up front in case there was any doubt. I also added that I prefer to be real - again, I thought my write-up already indicated that based on my 'realness', but felt it wouldn't hurt to state it up front since I continue to see so many complaints from the men.

As an aside, my response rate doesn't seem to have changed by making those changes.

Bottom line, I think the people (men OR women) who are filled with drama just tend to be attracted to the cool and calm among us, and vice versa unfortunately.

Hmm... ok so anyone interested...I'm gator3rd on okc and would so like to know if I "broadcast" those undesirable traits we are specifically talking about...I certainly have no desire for drama from my dates nor do I wish to insinuate that I may be about "excessive" drama...(is is ok to ask for profile reviews for other sites here??) Anyways..it's certainly an interesting topic!

It could be a legitimate declaration of intolerance for nonsense.

However, it can also be interpereted as:
1) aloofness,
2) extreme aversion to conflict,
3) a tendency to rigidly reject justified criticism as "drama,"
4) lack of interest in a serious relationship (because all relationships will eventually present "issues"), and/or
5) unrealistic expectations.

Given my experience in online dating, very few women bring drama (at least initially). Therefore, this no-drama declaration is definitely based on his experience in a previous serious relationship. His waryness could be valid, or it may not. The only way to find out is to date him.

I tried to find your profile to give you feedback, but you have filtered me out. It's ok..I'm not hurt...NOt really..not even a little bit. I'll just go away now and scream at life's injustices and throw a few dishes against the wall. No big deal.
