We're deciphering those key phrases both men and women say -- which can leave us totally perplexed!

I didn't read the article yet and probably don't need to since men mean what they say/say what we mean. There's nothing to "decipher" because we simply say what we mean.

Hmmm. Busy usually doesn't mean you're busy, just too busy for that person.

No sense having a relationship with someone if you are too busy for them. I'm here for a relationship. If I needed a lot of me time I'd be holed up at the home in Idaho staring at the snow.

So the title of the article is "What He Means When He Says..." but there are 5 things that are supposedly clandestine things that guys say and 5 things that women say

And who is this "Staff" person. Obviously it is a woman because the first 4 were totally off base. Number 5 was the only thing that guys say that could be misunderstood.

Agreed, but my comment was in reference to men not really saying what they mean. "Busy usually means too busy for you rather than coming out and saying they are not interested.

They (men) pretty much do mean what they say, but they stop the sentence before they get to the exact meaning.

I'm hungry.....honey, will you make me a sandwich?
I'm thirsty......honey, will you get me a beer?
I'm cold........honey, will you grab me a blanket?
I'm hot.........honey, will you turn down the heat?
I'm bored.....honey, will you take your clothes off?

This article was not useful because I rarely pay attention to what a man says and tend to pay more attention to what a man does. Be that as it may, I am familiar with all of these comments and their hidden meaning because I read Men are from Mars, Women Are From Venus and He's Just Not Into You. Old news for me.
