I've seen a lot of profile pictures of guys in nothing but their skimpy bikini swim trunks(?) . Men like that seem to be telling me, "I'm so sexy, all I want to do all way is look at myself in the mirror". Actually, not bad to look at, but not my choice for a partner.

And they do it with a smile in the real world and I'm sure online as well. So men doing it, not only doesn't surprise me, but why not?
But women in general who pretend they don't get excited looking at the male nude or semi-nude form are full of crap, boring as hell, and really don't deserve a man, cloth or otherewise. But it sounds to me your problem is not seeing the body parts in so much as these guys are headless in their photograph. This tells me, their face is not their strongest asset, they are married and on EH perpetrating as single guys and afraid of being found out, or both.

But the bottom line is if you see a package you like, request to see his face, or just stop window shopping at all the headless guys you seem to come across, and wondering what the hell they are doing. What do you think they are trying to say and do? If a woman I met makes a point to show me more of her body than her personality, I don't need anyone to tell me what the hell she is trying to say or what this chick is all about? I get it loud and clear. No translation needed.

And here I thought Anthony Weiner and his wife were trying to make things work.

So glad you can speak for all of us women.

Would it be so hard to believe that what attracts men doesn't necessarily attract women? After all, that's what makes life so interesting.

Shirtless pictures are always a "skip"/"close"/"delete" for me. It just exudes a vanity that I am not into. If you have a nice body, that's awesome, but if you feel like that is the best thing going for you, then it probably is. Now, if its a picture of you surfing, or doing a some strange acrobatic move on the beach...thats diff. but the shirtless pic in the mirror, or on your bed or in your kitchen...puh-leeze.

I agree with this post!

On a positive note: I like it (half nekkid pix), it helps me weed out the guys I DONT want to date. Makes it obvious to me what they are all about and what they looking for... Thanks!

Does a picture of a guy plowing snow count? I've had my avatar picture as one of my pictures in my eH profile, and I've done ok.

I've never been on OKC but I am on POF, and I've encountered a number of women who've posted bathroom self-portraits of themselves wearing lingiere. I've also encountered women who've posted one picture of their face, and 5 pictures of their various tattoos. Neither category of women would be a good match for me. I think this kind of thing comes with the territory on free sites -- I don't typically see these kinds of pictures on eH.
