Good afternoon/evening!

Was your weekend good, bad or ugly?

Spent a large majority of mine in traffic, but took a few breaks from that to see Furthur at the Greek Theatre and go to a party with the lady friend for a website my friend is launching. And fit in some pinball.

How about you??

My weekend was pretty ugly. It rained from around 11:00 PM Friday night until late Sunday night with only a few short breaks on Sunday.

I had a good weekend, my boyfriend and I saw the movie Moneyball on Saturday night. Enjoyed it, but I am a huge baseball fan, so this was interesting. Sunday then we spent the afternoon at the Zoo. I love this zoo, and I am a member, so it didn't cost too much. We were lucky enough to be right on time to see the dolphin training show, the milking of the cows at the farm area, and the feeding of the penguins. I absolutely love those penguins.

I had a superb weekend at the Delmarva Folk Festival - the weather was awesome and the music was great (though all my stagehands disappeared, so I did a LOT of running back and forth).

But sadly, due to some family emergencies my date wasn't able to make it

So we've rescheduled her visit for the weekend after next, and I'll return to the verbotten practice of getting more attached without having yet met

In one of our Skype conversations she brought up David DeAngelo's dating advice for men, so when she gets here I suppose I'll have to tease her unmercifully so she won't think I'm some sort of wussy pushover.

For I'm the boy to please her, and I'm the boy to tease her
I'm the boy that can squeeze her an,' I'll tell you what I'll do
I'll court her like an Irishman
Wi' brogue and blarney too is me plan
With the holligan, rolligan, swolligan, molligan bold O'Donahue!

All I can say is this is going to be mighty interesting! (Nah, I'm not Irish, but I have an affinity for things Celtic...)

Awesome! Been meeting people, being able to hang out with friends again, have a personal life. Have my own home (purchased a townhouse recently). Started a new job and back where i need to be financially.

Had a first date with a gal and it went terrific (surprised me). Went out again the other night. Going out again fri. Planning on spending the day together Sunday.

Having a blast!

Mom and daughter were in town so I had dinner with BF and his son at my place. He'd brought back lobster from vacation and we had it with salmon and Caribbean themed sides. It went well.

Other than that we did the usual things together. We seem to be building a routine. We did try another themed meal at a local restaurant on Saturday but the mussels made him sick. The Midwest isn't known for the freshness of its mussels.

I have been travelling overseas, so no "official" dates here.

However, I did meet someone to hang out with in the interim. She is extending her holiday a few days to spend more time with me.

Then, it is as the poet wrote; "Ships that pass in the night...".
