See, my walking with my toddlers generates a lot of attention for my daughter, very little for me.
Probably that too.
"Oh, your daughter is so cute. I'd like to have girl someday" while thinking "Definitely not with you"

That is a great idea! As the owner of two cats, though, I just wish they'd make "cat parks"...
I thought you just opened your front door and that was the cat park?

My dog is beautiful and attracts attention, alright, but she is obsessively protective of me. Our dog park attempts haven't been fun for her. She is too busy trying to secure the premises.

I take my pooch to the dog park a couple of times a week. I have made several casual friends of both genders, but haven't seen many guys of the appropriate age who are unattached.

But when I was trolling match the other day I did see a profile of one of the men who volunteers there. I was pretty sure it was him, but it was confirmed when he mentioned his dog's name. He's an older fellow, probably around 70. He listed himself as being athletic & toned & had a swimsuit shot in his profile. Let's just say the picture did not match the words. I think I'm going to have a hard time looking him in the face & I sure hope he didn't notice that I viewed his profile.

you just figured this out now??!
exactly what I was thinking! I remember the first time I went to the dog park. I was married (with large dogs, lol!) and thought, "hey, this is the place to come if I was single and wanted to meet men!"

And yup, men tend to have large dogs. So definitely opt for a golden retriever or lab if you're going to borrow a friend's dog for a day and head to the dog park.

I love going to the dog park, have not been there much since dating my boyfriend though, and I know my dog misses it.

When I was single though, I'd go once a week, but only because the dog park I like is so far away. Did talk to friendly people, but never did see many eligible good looking men. Same for walks in my neighborhood. Saw many men with their dogs, just didn't work out, most were married or gay. LOL!
