I think you should have either asked for his number or asked if he wanted yours. I think it's bad form to just send your number and say "call me".

Just an FYI, it is against the rules here to 'bump' posts ...

Be that as it may, this guy just isn't 'into' you and, in my opinion, you are wasting your time on him.

Each person is different in how they communicate. Some will suggest meeting in the first OC e-mail while others feel that you should e-mail for a couple of weeks then talk on the phone for a couple of weeks before suggesting meeting.

My personal style is to suggest meeting after 5 or 6 e-mail exchanges, which should occur within the first week after reaching OC. I have no desire or need to talk on the phone before meeting.

FWIW other than being rude I would not assign anything to his calling from the grocery store. I can't go anywhere without being surrounded by people yakking on their cell phones. I also would not assign any significance to his not remembering certain things about you from previous communication (or your profile). If he is using the system you are not his only match. And at this point you are nothing more than a complete stranger.

I would say it is somewhat abnormal, but not real far out of the normal range. One things most people learn fairly quickly from online dating is not to get very excited about someone until you meet them in person.
