Ha, fair enough. I just chose that as one of the more trite examples I encounter because pretty much everyone in Chicago likes going to baseball games, or at least says they do. (I think that has as much to do with Wrigley Field as it does the games themselves. Bostonians seem to be the same with Fenway.)

If you don't like baseball insert football, hockey, tractor pull, or rock concert. I'm talking about when their point is clearly not to emphasize the specific activity, but to let you know that they're capable of being both casual and formal (as in the t-shirt/jeans and little black dress post example I was responding to). My point is that it's true of pretty much everyone, at least in my demographic circles and area, which makes it a silly thing to brag about on a profile, IMO.

Ya, it is the usual "I like this but also this [counter]" in every list. It gets old and there are so many hobbies and forms of entertainment to go around that it is hardly what we are looking to judge people on.
