It works both ways as well. I remember going on a date, and she asked me for my ex-wife's age.

The rest of the date was spent by her telling me how I would dump her for a younger hottie eventually, because obviously I liked the young ones.

Needless to say there was no second date. Funny thing was she was still 10 years younger than me. I guess pointing that out still was not enough.

I was told by a beautiful woman 16 years younger than me she was too old for me. She could not stand it when women younger than herself flirted with me, which all too often occurred even though during the two years I was with her I was only interested in her. Jealousy!!!

If she thought her comparative youth was the biggest thing she had to offer you then I can see why she was jealous of younger women. That happens. People need to believe that they have some indefinable intrinsic value that makes them more valuable than anyone else to you. You can help by encouraging that fantasy if you really want a woman who doesn't feel insecure.
