Thanks for the input! Sorry if there is some confusion. So in both cases there was alot of communication via texting. In both cases the dates were planned for a Sunday afternoon. They had told me the plans and would communicate again on Sunday morning. I felt confident the dates would happen being that I communicated with both of them within 48 hours and it seemed like a sure thing. Neither cases seemed wishy-washy. Sunday morning comes and I dont hear from them. I call both of them (remember these are few wks apart) and dont ever hear from them again. I have never run into this in real life dating/courting. I have been out of the dating scene for awhile and wonder if this is dating in 2011?? A simple text would suffice.

yes, delete their number as they obviously aren't that serious about dating.

I'm sorry to hear about your mishaps. Unfortunately, they will happen (pun intended).

I agree about the quality on eHarmony over standard dating sites, but it's like wearing a Kevlar vest...Nothing's bulletproof. You'll run into arrogant, selfish and rude people on here, like the other sites, but usually (and hopefully) to a lesser degree.

At least you weren't sitting at the meeting place waiting on them, and you found out reasonably early what kind of people they were.

This whole process can be very frustrating, and will at times seem like it's a waste of money and not worth it. I encourage you to keep an open mind, knowing not every person on eH is a jerk. It also may take a while before you meet someone really special, but as long as you understand good things come to those who wait, you'll be glad you're doing this and no POF.

Good luck,
