Hi Lottie- Agree with IrishBrian et al- it isn't about u, it's about him. And you are SO LUCKY this happened right away, and not after you fell in love and had children with this "the grass is always greener" kinda guy-kick him to the curb, hard. Best of luck finding "the one", siren

Well the 4th and 5th have passed. We had already made plans to see each other on those days. Coming home to celebrate my birthday and the 4th was quite difficult as I knew I had to get past these days. They were a bit sad at moments; however, I kept myself quite busy with family instead (nieces who adore you sure help!) and they did pass.

I never thought I would still be single at 40. Then again, I never thought I would still be carded at 40 either!

Anyone know anyone?

I think the fact that he missed the plans on your birthday says tons about who he is and the state of the relationship. There are other fish in the sea so do not give up. There are many great guys here on the boards. Good luck and keep us posted!

He'd already given me "an early BD present" on the day we met face-to-face the first time. I know there are other fish in the sea; however, my sea appears pretty empty right now. I have communication requests out to almost 100 men at the moment and am waiting for replies. It's gets so frustrating that so many don't have the common courtsey to simple say "no thank you" if they are not interested. Really, how hard is it to click the mouse?

Hope all is well with everyone else.
