Thanks for the insights.  Love reading--and your books.  And I agree.  Happily ever after takes work!

The link above doesn't work and it's too much trouble to go searching the articles for it.

This newly enhanced site is great, isn't it??

Yeah, I couldn't even finish the article out of boredom... Plus, the title of the article itself makes no sense to me. Falling in love is fiction? Certain parts of falling in love are fiction so here's the truth? Eh?

I think the point of the article was supposed to be that she's a romance novelist, which is fiction, although I think too many people take it for reality. So, the goo in romance novels is fiction/fantasy, and she wanted to talk about the reality of interaction between the sexes, in the real world, using insights she's gained from making stuff up for profit.

That said, yeah, I thought the article was quite a bit of fluff.

Title aside...

I thought the article was pretty much spot on in its description of things needed in a good marriage...especially WRT:

A PLACE OF YOUR OWN
...Find a place where the two of you can find peace and space, one that gives you a sense of privacy, even with others around...

Like that shared look across a crowded room at a party...where each knows what the other is thinking.
