I agree with this. But the example I gave above, not all of that was happening ~ hence why neither person was a good communicator in that example.

I think I would keep it to what ou said earlier moreso ~ that it's more of a complex woven conglomerate of multiple strands, not any one thing. Howeve this is definitely a very important strand to say the least! I completely agree.

Hmmm.. interesting point. I can go with that But just as a last point ~ i dont' consider "communication" just what you speak. I consider it attitude, body language, perspective, expectations, what you try to impose on others, etc. The message another person perceives from you based on your "entire communication package"...
