Fair is fair, right?

1) "I think you should try therapy. It's really helped me."

Thanks, Oprah.

2) "I don't like your (pants), (shirt), etc." See I’d love to see you in a dress next time.

3) "My best friend is gay", "I hang out with gay guys.", "I like to go dancing at gay clubs."

I respect everyone as human beings, but that fixation is just weird.

4) "Can you believe he put out a restraining order on me?"
Only had to change the pronoun in this one.

5) "My ex was a hedge fund manager/ fighter pilot/ dot-com gazillionare by age 20/ went to Princeton...etc."
Don't cultivate feelings of inadequacy. We're competitive, though we don't always express it.

6) "I'm thirty-something years old, but I can and do still party like I'm in college."
Grow up

7) "My friends and I all like to compare ourselves to Sex and the City characters."

So you want to be likened to vapid, meaningless, materialistic people living in a fantasy world. Wonderful. Guys: run away. As fast as you can.

8) "How do you feel about (sensitive political issue)?"

Sometimes even saying "I don't think it's any of my business to judge" isn't enough.

9) "My (pet) is everything to me and you have to accept them. I dumped a guy because he wouldn't allow my (dog/ cat/ boa constrictor/ komodo dragon) in bed with us."

We want to date you. Not an animal.

10) "Why do you like spending time with your family?"
