I met this guy at a friend's party. We intantly clicked, chatted for a good while and after a few days he added me on facebook.

He suggested for us to grab a drink during happy hour the next day. 2 hours before the date, he messaged me saying that he had car problems and asked if we could re-schedule the date. I didnt hear from him in weeks after that.

Last week he messaged me again saying we should grab a drink this week and I said OK but he hasnt called all week long.

Is he really interested in me? Is he playing hard to get? What should I think of this guy?

Thanks in advance

My guess....you're an afterthought to him. If he feels like he doesn't have anything better to do someday....maybe he'll get together with you.

I'd say no the next time he calls. He's putting you into a holding pattern when the person he really wants to go out with puts him into a holding pattern.

Yes, it's a game. Don't play it.

He is not really interested in you. His attitude is like "When I have nothing else to do, then I can hang out with her".

Such an arrangement works fine when both the people treat each other similarly
