Can't say I agree with much of it. I have a guy friend that is just flat fun to text with. Yes, we occassionally get "out of rythym" or miscommunicate, but as long as you understand that texting is just shorthand, you should be OK.

You might be surprised to find out how romantic a man can be using text.

Texting should be used only to supplement an already-established relationship.

And some of us are not interested in texting anyone, especially romantically..........................

Suzie PS, I think some things should take place face to face.

And he has a foot fetish.

Being from the iGeneration I've never had issues with texting. It's personally my preferred means of communication. Simply for the fact that if and when you're busy it's far easier to send a short quick text to somebody than it is to sit down and have a phone conversation. Misunderstandings can happen but for the most part it's the exception, not the rule.

Not that there is anything wrong with phone conversations, but I, and most people around my age in the dating scene don't necessarily have the time to do so. If we're going to have a meaningful conversation I'd rather be there with you than talk through the phone. However if we can't be together talking on the phone for hours works just as well

I'm just trying to figure out if I'm supposed to be impressed that a new guy finds say, what 90 seconds in a day to send me a dozen text messages. Or is the real message that he just doesn't really have time for actual conversation. I agree it is fun within an established relationship.

He is thinking about you!

But only for 90 seconds!

Just be fun!
