Things not to say on a date:
1. Do not re-count your story about a mix up with your car title and tags which ends up with you sitting in jail in shackles for an arraignment, and that you had to shell out hundreds of dollars. It's not a funny story, and it makes me think you are irresponsible for not taking care of paperwork. Or just plain stupid. Or, just really unlucky.
2. Do not tell me where your ex-wife lives.
3. Do not tell me that you are using a picture of us (taken at a party) as your screensaver.
4. No need to give me the details on what is going in your two loads of laundry.
5. Ditto on what you're going to eat the rest of the day.

LOL! Sound advice.

Although… Don’t you think it’s a good thing that this “hypothetical” date revealed these things?!? It sounds like it helped you to figure out the next step (start pursuing other matches…).

Let me add:

Don't tell me that you DL has been suspended after you've picked me up for the date.

Your lawyer (divorce or otherwise)
Your accountant
Your doctor (including bowel habits)
