So today I coached a boat, then when had a film session, then I went on a first date with a chick. After that, I called another chick and left a message. Now, what do I say if she asks what I did today? I'm not going to lie, but I also think it's inappropriate to say I went on a date. Who does that unless they're trying to passive-aggressively pressure a girl? I also don't want it to look like I sat on my bum all afternoon.

If she asks, say you did the coach/film thing and then had lunch with a friend. It's not a lie (did you eat lunch with her?) and most people won't assume you had a date during the day. I definitely wouldn't volunteer that you had a date, she does not want to hear that even if it's true.

If you call her a chick you won't have to worry about it.

Two good pieces of advice in one day, probably a record for me.

Pisto, most women don't particularly care to be referred to as chicks.

Referring to any girl as a "chick" is derogatory and degrading. The term, which is short for chickens, refers to the females who worked at an old established whore house. Seeing as you casusally throw this term around, ignorant of its connotation, could suggest that you might have difficulty establishing a meaningful relationship with either of these two women. I think this is what they mean.

Oh for crying out loud, of course I wouldn't call her a chick. Nor do I mean to be objectifying women by saying chick on the forums.
