Hey everyone,

How was your weekend? Anyone have any dates to tell us about?

I had a good but busy weekend - saw Eat, Pray, Love (was pretty good!) ran errands, had lunch with a couple of friends, and then went out on Saturday and Sunday nights with the guy I've been seeing (things seem to be going well! )

The weekend felt more like one day than two, though! Went by way too fast...

I'm still in Tennessee, taking care of my mom. She fell from a ladder and required surgery to repair some fractures and a torn Achilles tendon. She's doing much better after a couple of tough days. I'm still not sure when I'm heading home, though. It's still an ordeal for her to get up, so she's pretty much helpless except for the occasional trip to the bathroom.

Therefore I had no dates. I've been in contact with one match though, she's been checking in on me even though we've only had one meeting. I'm looking forward to getting back to Chicago.

Worked. 28 hours from Friday night - Sunday evening. not counting a full day on Friday. Glad when the fiscal year ends tomorrow and my close-out/inventory/reconcilliations are done. Not much time for dating this week!

Other than that...just the usual, BBQ, wine tasting, mysterious leak on the ceiling , etc.

Slept most of the weekend and today as well as it's a Bank Holiday here and everything is closed.

I had a date with my fiancee - took one of those tour boat rides in downtown Chicago. It was fun.
