ahh - they are everywhere. Well not the nail salon but everywhere else. Like em manly - Home Depot. Active - bike path. Animal lover - dog park.

Take a class - learn a language or manage your finances or computer something - maybe a Skype class chess.

wear your tankini to the beach

Get tickets to a concert series...chat with other subscribers....

do stuff you like to do and enjoy it...you will be a man magnet.

.
No beach in New Mexico. Other venues you mentioned aren't exactly tankini-friendly.

I'm not kidding that this is a wasteland! From 2000 to 2003 I took classes at the local university's continuing education -- mostly computer stuff -- constantly! I'd take three or four classes a term. All the guys in my classes were married except for two: one was gay, and the other was young enough to, technically, be my son. In 2003 I joined eHarmony because I just wasn't meeting people. (At least now I get to pretend I'm meeting people, and get to meet about one person a year in a first meet (that won't go to a second date but at least I've met someone).)

The local Lowes has been a wasteland in the economic downturn. More employees there than customers. Paths....dog parks...empty when I'm there.

I work in a small place where all the guys in the office are married. The building is in the middle of a wasteland of just about nobody else works in that part of town.

There are some homeless guys out under the bridge sometimes but I'm not that desperate yet.

I think it was NY, Sassafras. (sorry, DL) I read an article. It said the skies of NJ were filled with balloons. Pretty cool!!
