Just cleaned up after a yard sale. Make a few dollars and now were off to get some soda and beer. I need something cold to drink!

But, that cocoa looks wonderful. I'll save room for some later on.

Can I join in....I am new and I like chocolate and have my own sleeping bag!

Guy I was dating for 3 months told me his ex girlfriend (they split up last year) was moving back in with him for a month or so. He then proceeds to tell me that she still liked him and wanted to get back together. He refused to tell her that he was seeing anyone else because he didn't want to upset her. Supposedly I was strong enough to handle it and had to "trust him" that nothing would happen between them.

I got dumped after 27years of marriage by email, also did the court and divorce without ever having an argument or face to face. Infact over 3 years and still have never seen the ex face to face although we do talk now on the phone and who knows maybe one day when he comes back to town will have the guts to face me in person. It took me those three years to even consider dating again and although a few emails the first guy I met face to face I am still seeing 4 months later.

A rather strange one I had. An ex GF invited me out not long after breaking up with me to go to a movie because she said she wanted to introduce me to a friend of her's. The whole thing of trying to line me up with her as it were.

Problem was before hand the 3 of us went round to see her new boyfriend. It was initially suppose to be a double date.

But then she started getting all lovey dovey with her new boyfriend. to the point where I had to leave the room. Well throughout the night her friend barely even looked at me. So my conclusion is that she didn't really want to line me up with her friend at all. She just wanted to rub it in my face.

She broke up with me in September of that year, she was married to the new BF before the year was out. From what I've heard these 2 aren't friends anymore.

Ok, my ice cream story. Be prepared!

Finally agreed to meet with a guy for drinks who was "bugging" me for about 3 weeks. I suggested a place, he said no, without any alternative given. I suggested a second place and he said yes. Each time we texted details to each other he kept saying he couldn't make it for at least 45 minutes (I think I got the hint after the first message). I told him I had to eat, so no problem and I would see him when he got there.

I ate my food and he arrived shortly after. Almost the first thing out of his mouth was that he had lied about his age. Not by a year or two, but by ten years! His way of ordering our drinks was to be sure to tell the bartender that it was separate tabs.

Almost every question he asked he would interrupt me or tell me I didn't actually have to answer it. Somehow another restaurant came up in conversation. He said he had been there the weekend before (so had I, on a date) so I asked him why he was there. He was super evasive about the "group" he was with and didn't want to answer. Finally he admitted it was (of all horrors! jk) MENSA.

Then, after interrupting me mid sentence, he asks me if he can touch my hair. I say no. I head to the restroom and upon my return he touches my hair. We were surrounded by people so I didn't make a huge deal or slap him, though I did put my hand up to his face and told him he was pushing the limits.

I decided it was time to leave and wanted to get a dessert at another location, without him. I said goodbye and he said he was going to stay and finish his beer. Good enough for me!

About 15 minutes later he shows up ( I had just gotten my Hot Fudge Sundae) and then proceeds to eat about 3/4 of it.

There's a fair amount of good to be said for old reliable yacky women.

Where'd all the newbies go?

Ya'll couldn't have scared 'em away already!
Nope.

I have been on 5 dates. 4 were first dates and the fifth was more of an 'as friends' date with one of the first 4. I think that in and of itself may be a dating horror story.
