It's ridiculous to think that a couple absolutely has to have the exact same formal education or income level is that like an EHarmony thing or something? There's more women in college than men to begin with that statistic is well known. You don't need a college degree to work on an oil rig (mostly men) most of the better jobs women do require college such as teaching and so on. Cmon people wise up with the way you date yeesh you over think it way too much and don't let nature or chemistry happen. I'd say her biggest problem is the health and physical attraction issue.

I work in academic and also need a very intelligent partner - intellectual chemistry is the most difficult thing for me to find (maybe we are good match ourselves?!). But I've also come to the conclusion that it's *curiosity* that's more important. I need someone that is always interested in learning new things. Regarding the weight deal - here's my take: if you find him attractive enough that you want to see him naked, great. That's the first hurtle. The 2nd one is the answer to the question, "What's are the issues/lifestyle behind the weight?" Are there some unresolved emotional issues there, or just a lethargic lifestyle?
