Haha, I've actually had guys ask some of those questions on first dates! Maybe they read this article?
To be fair, I know that first dates can be nerve-wracking, but you'd do so much better to just relax and let the conversation flow naturally. Nobody wants to feel like they're being interrogated on the first date.

and i agree that these are horrible questions. i would be bothered if someone interrogated me like this

Seriously, where do these articles come from - people who have never had a date?
No, they come from people whose bonuses depend on us staying customers. Meaning they give us advice that would result in failure of a date, and the process will repeat in perpetuity.
I generally dislike "favorite" questions. It's why I rarely fill out public profiles that ask you to list your favorite something or other. Why must I only pick one? I have several good friends, but I would never call any of them "best" over the other. I have several movies I simply love and can't just choose one favorite. Same goes with food, books, places, songs, etc. Ugh.
