Hi there again.

Just wondering. I ssaw that mobie: She's out of my League, and i can't help but wonder how this whole League system works.

I knwo that it goes from 1 - 10, but what i am curious about is what kind of guys and women are at 1, and what kind of guys and women are at 10? And what kind of guys and women are between?

I am curious as to how this ranking thing goes in the league system so that i can be able to tell weather or not i have a chance with some women, or am i too stupid, or too undereducated for her taste?

I hope everyone knows what i am talking about.

This is nothing more than a concept, and trying to quantify matters is mainly going to turn people off.

In general, you can think of a person as "over your league" if they are more desirable than you.

Well i just want to be able to tell if i have a chance with certain women, and what kind of women will reject me because i am not their type.

The idea is 10 (see bo derek) is for beautiful and 1 is for the not so attractive ones.

The idea...and research has shown this....people tend to converge near each other when choosing a mate. If he was a 6 he would get a woman who was a 5, 5, or 7.

Sometimes you can have the exception where one goes with someone 2 steps are more away in terms of looks....when that happens there tends to be some underlying reason..like beautiful woman takes ugly man because she isnt threatened by his liklihood, or lack thereof, to cheat on her.

I'd let someone reject you rather than rejecting yourself on their behalf. The bottom line is you don't know someone's preferences until you actually talk.

See the movie Wargames instead. The line regarding Leagues can be summed up by a line by Joshua, the computer.

Just a heads up - if you go into this dating adventure assuming you are not good enough and that you will be rejected, you may find that you are right. Assume positive intent!

I agree with MicMan.

It is lame to assume rejection, when you can be certain if you try.

I mean, look at it this way: you hop up and yak to an attractive woman:

- Option one, she talks nicely, listens to your pitch, and turns you down approprately (hopefully honestly, for a real reason.) You got some practice, and came away encouraged (especially if she laughed at your Joke.)

- Option two, she is accepting of your invitation and agrees a meeting, or supplies a contact method for you to try later. This is great, and what you hope for.

- Option three, she is mean, rude, etc. Well, so what (that's why you don't pay for drinks)? Yes, this feals bad - and gathering data that women are rude isn't in your best interest for future inclination to try. But, so what? At least you got some reaction, and that is better than talking to your Beer (since the bartender cuts off your supply as soon as the conversation gets interesting.)

- Option four, is shee gives a number but never answers the phone or returns you call. Call them "phone number diggers": women who live to get numbers for no reason except to be mean. Believe in karma if it makes you happy.

- Option five, the elusive "shall we go back to my place?" This is, sadly, is sure to happen only when you've had too many Beers to, you know, get with it.

I think it's a giant load of carp. There are no leagues. We are all the same. To someone you will be a 10 and to someone you will be a 1. It's so subjective as to be useless. Just go for the women you find attractive and they will do the same wtih you. Who cares what anyone else thinks.

I still love that movie...

To the OP...We all have enough real limits in life. Why buy into someone else's? Talk to people you find interesting. Pay attention to how they respond to you. Be genuine and have the confidence to understand that, with the ones who tell you no, it's not about some imaginary league you're in or something that is wrong with you - it's about their preferences at that moment in their lives.
