Just a thought I've discussed with my friends and, heck, even my mom before. Do you think you can fall for someone - as in, fall in love, or at least get totally smitten - based on how much you enjoy their kisses?

I told my mom that the guy I'm dating is a great kisser and she said, "uh-oh! that means you're going to fall in love. it's impossible to not fall in love with a great kisser."

Does anyone else believe that? I wonder if there is any research on the topic.

I will pretty positively say no as a man.

I don't think I have ever kissed a woman and thought, wow that was just terrible. I mean I can tell some where better than others but I don't put a whole lot of weight into it. As long as they aren't kissing me with their eyes wide open, or breath isn't halitosing im good.

Nope.
Won't fall in love...I will wanna kiss her more though.

Plus...kissing isn't the thing that would activate PY's missile launch code...so you could be a reaaally great kisser, to me that's not where the real action is lol

No. I mean, it is hard to resist kissing them and I would/have probably let some people hang around longer than I should have to keep the kisses coming... but it wouldn't make them more appealling to me overall.

Don't underestimate the power of the almighty pheromone...and kissing puts you right square in the middle of pheromone central.

yeah, a really great kiss can totally rock my world. I'm not talking about a little kiss - I'm talking about one of those five-minute mind erasers that leave you weak in the knees. sigh.

It's not the kissing. It's a pheromone high. Your pheromone receptors are just inside your nose...and the pheromones are given off through openings in the body, especially pores on your face. The kissing is great, but your mind is clouded from the pheromones.

Trust me, if they were pheromones that you did not agree with, the kissing would stop fairly quickly...it's called "feeling like I'm kissing my brother/sister"...

From a distance you talk and rely on visual queues...but up close, your nose...well, it knows!!!
