Well folks, I just wanted to post a recap of my first date in several months. It took place last night. I drove down to meet her at a nice little Italian restaurant (only about an hour drive for me, not too shabby.) We meet at 6:30pm, and didn’t leave the restaurant until 10:30 pm. We talked and joked about everything, mostly about the silly things we did with our friends (always a good ice breaker…lol!) She was very attractive, very nice. I already knew I could talk to her, because we had spoken on the phone a few times and each time was a 2-hour phone call. Now, she was attractive in her pictures, but more so in person. I was a bit nervous, naturally. It had been awhile since I had gone out on a date, so I was trying my best not to over do it on impressing her.

We ended the date with a nice hug and mentioned something about going out again. Part of me sort of felt I should have not mentioned anything at all, because I realize it’s not very attractive to appear eager, but in the case, I think it was OK. We had already mentioned even before meeting about going to the zoo (they have a really nice zoo close to where she lives.) So, I left the date feeling pretty good. I was a bit tired though. I didn’t get back home until midnight and I barely got myself into work this morning. But, I felt good about last night. Whatever comes from it, I can at least say I had a fun evening out with an attractive, sweet woman. All and all, a very good date.

Yeah, because women prefer to think the guy isn't interested in them at all :P

Good for you, Greg. A trip to the zoo sounds like a great second date! Think of all the monkey sex jokes to be had.
