Hey everyone!

How was your weekend?

Anyone have any dates to report?

~~~
I had a GREAT weekend....my Mom is out visiting from the East Coast and we went out to visit my Dad in Arizona (they divorced 25 years ago but are still good friends). We had a really nice visit, lots of laughs and reminiscing. Good times!
~~~

How about you, how was your weekend?

That's great, Lori! It must be nice to have a pair of non-dysfunctional parents, whether they divorced or not.

I enjoyed lots of good phone and Skype contact with my guy on the other coast. He'll be traveling again for a couple of weeks but we're making plans for another get together right after he returns, so I couldn't be much happier. More than two weeks with him in July in a foreign locale that I will refrain from naming... but it's going to be wonderful! (Maybe even hot and steamy... in more ways than one. )

Saturday, I went to a wedding with J. He was very sweet--though quiet at the wedding. He is very much an introvert. I worried a bit whether he was okay but he said multiple times that it was fun and a nice wedding. We saw each other all day Sunday having breakfast (at a cool place that I had never been), went to the lake and rented a movie and had pizza.

He is so good to me. I am not used to being treated so well and he downplays it all. I never feel like he is doing things to score points. I am letting my guard down.

I had a nice date with a 6 mos old and a 2 yr old Saturday. We had a nice walk around a reservoir, but I had to push them the whole time. Unfortunately, they do not change their own diapers. They are also fussy about their food and whine a bit. They do not offer to pay for anything and fall asleep really early. They also wake up at 4am, which is just way too early for me. They are a lot of fun, but one sided conversation can get tiring.

Non of the matches I have responded to anything. But at some point in the near future I will be meeting up with the dentist. She has suggested she is going to bring her sister along who is visiting from Mexico. So Actually, it may be a meet up with both of them.

Glad things are going well with the guy. Your trip sounds like fun!

That does not sound like such a great date.

I hope you have more luck with some matches soon!

I had a great weekend. The guy I've been seeing drove down for our third date and we established exclusivity (which I pretty much knew, but it was nice to get it out in the open). We went for lunch, had a short hike, went for dinner, watched a movie at my place and generally had a really nice time. Can't wait to see him again next weekend.

It is summertime and it is HOT and HUMID here.

I did have a (rather short) date on Sunday. That was a rather novel experience since it had been about 3 1/2 months since I last had a date.

No dates, but I was in contact with the guy who lives about an hours drive from me. Now we just have to find a time for us to meet in person.
