I have very limited experience with women and i've seen this woman four times now and invited her over to the house, We ended up ordering pizza and watching a movie together at my place. We started making out and after about 2 minutes of kissing I just stopped abrubtly because she had previously expressed she wanted to take things slow. It was kind of an awkward moment for both of us and we expressed that to one another. I'd like your advice as to how much time the normal make out session tends to last and how to properly end it so as to make it not seem so "awkward".

A make out session is properly ended by having sex.

If she's the one that wants to take it slow let her set the pace. She'll stop if she thinks it's going to fast.

you might have insulted her by stopping after two minutes. you have to let the woman take the lead. if she had wanted to stop, she would have pulled back. by you doing so, she probably thinks you're not that into her now. you can redeem yourself by calling her and asking her out again and being super sweet. that should help mend things. and next time - let her decide when it's enough.

good luck!

Seems to me that many women say they want to take things slow, even if they really don't want to. Let her decide when things are moving too fast. You need to decide if things are moving too fast for yourself, not her.

There's no "normal" make out session duration, but, they're generally a heck of a lot longer than 2 minutes.

Sexual intimacy and relationships tend to have some awkwardness involved! It's not like hollywood where beautiful people do everything right all the time. Don't worry about it.

Perhaps talk again about the pace of your relationship, at a time when you're not making out?

I think it was nice of you to remember she'd said she wanted to go slow, and stop yourself.

There's no rule on how long a session lasts. Don't worry about being awkward. Good luck!

You may get a few clues if you watch a couple of episodes of 2 & 1/2 men.

I think that it is great that you are being respectful.

I don't think the length of time is an issue in taking it slow... but before you cross each boundary, you want to be sure she is ready, ya know? Let her initiate anything new.

As far as how to end it... absrupt is bad. Just slowly pull back and tone it down until you are just holding each other.

I'll preface this by saying that I don't have a whole lot of experience in this area, but two minutes seems really short for making out. Also, if I was kissing a guy and he pulled back abruptly as you're describing, it would make me feel like I'd done something wrong.

Let me ask you this. If she wants to take it slow and you are making out and get noticeably hard where she can feel it. How does a women feel about that?
