Alright, I have a date tomorrow and I told her I would make her a meal... Im not much of a cook but I am pretty good at following direction and pasta is easy enough.

So im going for Alfredo with chicken but what else would go with this meal and do you know any good recipes?

She is handling desert.

I would go with the Rigatoni, myself, if she'll let me!

Don't skimp on good bread. Get a nice loaf of artisan bread.

For extra flavor/texture, I have actually grilled my chicken (with George Foreman grill) so it has some nice grill marks on it....

Also, don't skimp on good cheese....get a nice small block of Parmesan cheese and a grater....grate it for her fresh as you serve.

I would suggest Fettuccine or Linguine.

He's serving them to a woman though.

I'd suggest including a fresh garden salad that includes a wide variety of vegetables, and an offering of good dressings. Alternatively, a Caesar salad would go well, too. Either one is pretty easy to make and is a nice complement to the pasta.

I'd go with a pasta she doesn't have to slurp up, like bow tie or penne. Also add a caesar salad (buy the bag and the dressing comes with it) and some garlic bread (frozen stuff is fine with me).

Have fun and don't forget the wine.
