I have recently tried dating again, i was in a relationship for 5 years, and was cheated on, make a long story short, i was torn to pieces, havent really trusted any girls. My co-worker introduced me to a friend of his and i cant seem to stop thinking about her, problem is, we met on her 21st birthday and a small group of us went for drinks and we havnt had a chance for a one on one conversation, i have tried talking to her but she is as shy as i am and has short answers and not much to say, she didnt seem to be interested but my friends wife says she really likes me so far, but i cant seem to spark a conversation yet, i dont want to be too forward, but i what do i say to her, ive asked her everything i could think of, im usually not this shy around girls but this one im really interested in and cant seem to get anything going. any advice?

Is your Bentley from 1922, or are you 22 and own a Bentley?

I favor inviting her to a real Date, alone, with only the two of you, together, etc.

google...."questions to ask a girl on a date"....you will find some cute and witty questions that will help to "break the ice" ...when you ask her out for coffee after work (or whatever kind of drink)....

Blimey, right spot of brilliance, this.

Bet ol' W.O. would appreciate that.

Are you on telephone terms or emailing terms? Either way, I'd ask her if she's free tomorrow...or Saturday...or Sunday. (It is a long weekend, after all!)

Then ask her if she would like to go with you to the interesting new ethnic restaurant that has just opened up in your area. (This is true pretty much everywhere.)

Ask her to marry you. That will get some type of answer. Tell her you are going to Vegas and you need someone to stand beside you in the chapel when Elvis marries you to them. That should spark some conversation. Then for more ideas, contact me directly and we will double date with her sister.
