Hi everyone - my first first eH date was a bit of a bust last week, but I'm giving it another go with a new guy tonight and looking forward to it. he seems very nice.

Any suggestions on whether we should opt for coffee at starbucks, or do a glass of wine at, say, somewhere low-key like p.f. chang's? (not a bar scene, but not boring, either.)

I met the first guy for a drink, and was wondering if maybe coffee is a better option since it keeps everyone more low-key and real.

any thoughts on that?

I prefer non-alcohol for a first date, but ... you can always get coffee or other non-alcohol at a bar if you want to let the date make his own choice about that.

Starbucks, fine.

Was alcohol part of why last week's went bust?

If the weather is good you could go to a park, play music and eat finger foods.
