I sent a mother's day email to mom (also lives far away from me), cleaned backyard, ate lunch/dinner with a friend, and watched Titanic in between (don't judge!)

Went on a 1st date Saturday night and on Sunday worked on completing the bathroom tiling job I started a couple of weeks ago.

Made chicken and rice soup. Did some mother's day stuff. Really, my time, lately, has been extremely boring.

Oh, one of the seeds I planted started yesterday. I'm hoping the basil gets going. Would be so nice to have fresh basil to put in my cooking.

I had a great date on Friday night. We went out to dinner and they had a band so we stayed and drank some wine. I really like this guy. On Saturday had kids games and my family came over to celebrate mothers day with my mom. On Sunday kids gave me some very sweet cards and bought me pizza so I did not have to cook. Love those boys!

Went on a first date with one of my matches. We hit it off surprisingly well (probably best first date I've had to date). Of course, in my experience, first dates don't mean all that much ^^.

Also almost had a heart attack when I came home and found that my roommate cleaned the entire house. His ears must have been burning because somehow the subject came up with my date, and I talked about how messy he made the place and I refuse to clean up after him.

Had a fabulous 3 day date in Las Vegas with a wonderful match ! She didn't want to go home and I sure didn't want to take her home ! Have an RV trip planned with her for next weekend. Hmmm.... is she the "ONE" ?

Went on a first date on Saturday night. Nice guy. However, I just didn't feel the sparks. I don't know....

On Sunday, went to see my mom at the nursing home. Took her flowers, a card and a bracelet. She really doesn't have room for much, so I thought the bracelet would make her feel pretty. We went down to listen to some music in an area where a man was playing the piano and singing. There was also a volunteer that was dancing with the patieints, so I joined in for a little while. Most were in wheel chairs and weren't able to get up, but hey they felt they were dancing and enjoyed it.

My daughter gave me a necklace, picked some flowers out of the yard (my old one) and made a nice bouquet. She then took me out to dinner.

A nice weekend, overall.

I had a first date on friday night with a guy who was also my first eH date and my first post-divorce date. it was scary to do it, but I'm so glad it's over with.

he looked like his pic and acted just like his emails would make me think he'd act, but what I didn't get until the in-person meeting was how full of himself he would be. his ego was huge. kept complimenting himself and didn't seem to be doing so in a joking manner. well, said the stuff jokingly, but seemed to be serious about it overall.

there wasn't a connection, but I had fun and got the date out of the way, so that's all good!
