If you dated someone who was a bad kisser... do you tell that person that you think they are a bad kisser, and then try to guide them to be a better kisser? Or, do you just go along with it...

Also, if someone told you, they thought you were a bad kisser, would you get your feelings hurt?

They could be nervous or inhibited in some way. Maybe say something to them calmly like "Relax" then smile and keep on kissing. A subtle gesture might be better than coming out and telling them they are a bad kisser.

I don't think there is any way to tell someone they are a bad kisser without hurting their feelings. Seriously, how would you use the words "bad kisser" in a sentence that didn't hurt feelings?

You can try to guide them to the way you like to be kissed, but that's about it. Frankly, however, I have not had much success in trying to reform a bad kisser. I think much beyond teens and early 20s, people have set their kissing style and while they may change slightly at your suggestions, they will revert back to their "bad" style before long.

You can do either of these things:

Break up with them and tell them they were a bad kisser.

Break up with them and not tell them they were a bad kisser.

Stick with it and try to teach them (but who wants to do that?)

I always tell them, because maybe they're not right for me, but for someone else. I'll also tell them when they are a good kisser.

you can tell them, but it won't help. my now ex-husband was a bad kisser (he'd nearly smother me with kissing and not let up so that I could breathe!) but it did no good to tell him. I tried telling him over and over just to let up and give me breathing time in between, but no, he refused.

so I divorced the control freak.

easier to break up with them in the dating stage.

If you think it is extreme perhaps you have not been kissed by a bad kisser. Tongue up ones nose????

Seriously though kissing is a bit like sex so there can be some changes in substance to meet the needs of another. Still if it is pushed too far the other person will lose pleasure. I guess look at it this way, if you only like being on top and he only likes being on top then unless you find a mutual new position it is not likely to work out. Now just transfer that to kissing.

If he gets pleasure sticking his tongue up your nose and getting a tongue stuck up your nose turns you off then breaking up is your only option unless you can find something other than sticking his tongue up your nose that turns both of you on.

I think some of that was tongue in cheek (no pun intended)
