a woman is likely to want to see that you’re at least looking for gainful employment and have some kind of a long-term plan? How is a woman to see that? As for the rest- I always keep clean, wear a small amount of after shave, I can do things, some things anyway. I don't go to pubs. I'm a good listeniner, some times a good advice giver, A very good secret keeper. But far as I know, there's no way for a woman to see that.

I think this list can apply to both genders, although I'm not sure men want manly women.

they don't, but just for laughs...
let's substitute this:

MANLINESS
Women are impressed by men who can actually do things, and just as importantly – WANT to do things. Whether it’s the small stuff like taking care of simple home repairs, changing a tire or taking out the trash, they also like to see that you have a passion for life, enjoy your work and hobbies, and that you know how to lead and take responsibility. In other words, man up!

for this:
WOMAN-LINESS
Men are impressed by women who can actually do things, and just as importantly – WANT to do things. Whether it’s the small stuff like taking care of the ironing, sewing on a button or baking a nice apple pie, they also like to see that you have a passion for life, enjoy your work and homelife, and that you know how to follow and take direction. In other words, woman up!

OH nooooooo!! wait.....thats sexist!!!!!

According to the article:

She is looking for a man who can support the family, if need be. She's also looking for equality. I doubt most women expect themselves to be able to support the family if need be. So, according to the article they don't really want 'equality'.
