I agree - esp with don't mentioning the ex. It's not a good way to indicate that you are willing and am able to move forward with a new relationship.

Notice the first thing.....the photos! I believe whether if we are willing to admit it or not, if we don't like the pictures we won't read the profile.

I'll raise my hand and openly admit it - if I don't like the picture I don't read one word of the profile. I don't really read too much into the profile to begin with. I figure it like this - if she passes my very stringent match settings, she must be halfway decent for me to begin with.

You buy them from the fishmonger when they are medium sized (to big and they have to much fat), preferably still alive so they are fresh. If you have them in a bag in the fridge, don't be surprised if they have found their way out of the bag and are curled around your milk bottle.

Cut them into 4" pieces, bread them and fry them in butter. Eat them the way you'd eat a corn cob. Serve them with new potatoes in a white cream sauce. Drink beer and shots of schnapps with the dish. Delicious!
