I just got my finalized divorce papers in the mail today and an email from my ex-wife that she is getting married. Awesome.

Um yes, congratulations. You could do what I did: throw a party at the beach: pizza, balloons, and beer!

Regarding your ex-wife's divorce, does that mean marriage #2 for her? Wow. I read a quote from Dr. Warren (I know, I know) the other day -- about bouncing too quickly into second marriages -- that made me think: "you can turn one bad marriage into two bad marriages so fast that it will make your head spin!" Yikes.

If your divorce was final today wouldn't that also mean that your ex-wife's divorce was final today also

Don't know if this was from his book or not, but it was actually a pretty good read.

I figured he divorced wife greater than or equal to 2 (WG2) and got the papers the same time as wife 1 through one less than WG2 did.

I am sure that cleared it up.

Maybe I read it wrong but I was thinking said ex-wife was a wife from a previous marriage before the one he just got divorced from?

And I suppose congratulations would be in order as I hear divorce can be messy.
